As any writer knows, solitude is a comfortable companion. When I am in the public eye, The Beave runs and hides. I am on my own. It’s easy to see how nervous I am when you can clearly hear my voice shaking. Look how calm, (and even happy) the Beave is holding a skunk. I wish I had his courage.
When I walked into the radio station, it felt like when I went to Paul Smiths college. This was something I had never done before. I didn’t know what would happen. When I went to my first writers workshop put on by the Adirondack Center for Writing, I was very nervous. I have heard when you are nervous, you are doing your best.
The Beave has picked up every wild animal that will let him get close enough, and has called within ten yards some who might gnaw on him should he let them.
But goes to shit when he needs to shave closely.
