When my daughter A.J. was having problems in English class, I told her, “Bafel-em with bullshit”. What I meant at that time was to make her stories more colorful, more believable. Apparently I have the gift of Bullshit. According to the guys at work, I’m full of it. Like a farmer, I do like spreading it.
More than once I remember hearing my mother say, “I love the smell of fresh cow manure in the spring” which makes me think there’s something genetic going on.
Either way, this writing bug has bitten me in a place I cannot scratch. I MUST BE PUBLISHED.
To achieve that, I must prove that I can indeed write.
My friend Doug Buchanan said, “Everyone who wants to take up a career in writing should work in reporting for a while.”
